This is the first public class Mike has taught since he returned from studying in Japan! Come see what he learned. The instructor will explain both the "how," and the "why" of great rope bondage, and demonstrate techniques that enhance many types of play, whether it be sensual, dominant, playful, sadistic, or any combination thereof.
Students will learn the basic building blocks that give Japanese bondage it's distinctive look, and discover why these techniques are so well suited to natural fiber rope. Then students will also learn "hands-on" how to put these basic techniques together to tie an elegant, sexy, and functional hogtie.
Suitable for rank beginners, but repeat students will come away with a stronger skill set and new ideas. Singles and couples welcome. Singles should be willing to tie and be tied. Anyone being tied should wear form fitting but supple clothing or nothing at all. Tights are better than yoga pants, and blue jeans and cargo pants are not advised. The instructor will provide floor mats, but students should bring a yoga mat or towel. No rope? No problem. Loaner rope available.

Mike West says, "I've been tying up girls and making them cry since I was 5 years old. Sometime in my late 20s, I decided to get organized about it. I've been giving private rope bondage lessons since 2002, and teaching larger groups since 2006. For the last four years, most of my creative energies have been directed towards my "Rope::Burn" shows, my attempt to create a Japanese-style nightclub bondage performance experience here in the USA.
