Six years on Broadway, now at Theatre Alliance !! Winner of the Tony "Triple Crown" for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book, AVENUE Q is part flesh, part felt and packed with heart. AVENUE Q is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that although the residents seem nice, it's clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life.

I live in Greensboro, about 40 minutes away from Winston-Salem. I am interested in seeing Avenue Q, but I would hate to drive all the way there and find out that there are no tickets available. There is no way to order tickets in advance for any of the remaining shows??? |

There are no tickets available for any of the remaining shows. All performances of Avenue Q are sold out, as of about 5:30 pm on Friday, February 24. |

Heather: If someone cancels seats through Brown Paper Tickets, those seats automatically become available (we here at Theatre Alliance won't necessarily even know). If someone cancels through us, we generally don't find out until near showtime. The best bet (and we know this is a pain) is to come to the theater an hour before curtain. We start a waiting list for cancellations for that show. |

We cannot add more shows for this run, since we have another show opening mid-March. We certainly will be considering bringing Avenue Q back in future seasons. |

Online and phone sales for this event have ended. If there are any available tickets, we will sell them at the box office one hour before curtain time.
Even if the performance is "sold out", you can still "take a chance" and come to the theater one hour before curtain time to purchase tickets (we may get some last-minute cancellations). |
