Don't miss the return to the stage of Shirley Jenkins -- original Bill Evans Dance Company member, artistic director of Strong Wind Wild Horses, founder of Dance on Capitol Hill, and Seattle modern dance teacher, choreographer, producer and performer.

In her return after a 14-year hiatus due to cancer, back surgery and hip replacement, Jenkins has created and performs in modern and tap works, some reflecting her physical and emotional journey over a 14-year period. Dancers include Amie Baca, Holly Batt, Carrie Dossick, Gail Helibron, Annalisa Peterson, Belle Wolf, and tap dancer Maya Jenkins (no relation), whom Shirley has dubbed her "soul sister in tap."

Performances are December 9 and 10, 8pm and Sunday December 11, 3pm, at Broadway Performance Hall, 1625 Broadway Avenue (at Pine St.) on Seattle's Capitol Hill.
Ticket prices are general admission: $25 advance/$27 door, student: $20 advance/$22 door, with a patron level at $35. All seating is unassigned.
