Caji comes from the culturally rich city of Salvador, Bahia, in Brazil. Salome was born on the islands of Azores in Portugal and lived part of her life in the cosmopolitan and multi-cultural city of Montreal, Quebec, in Canada. Together they have combined their passion for acoustic music with their fascination for Brazilian sounds and grooves. Caji & Salome's repertoire includes not only Brazilian music but a mix of songs from Portugal, Cuba, South America, Cabo Verde, and France.
