HCA's Jane Austen Murder Mystery Dinner & Card Party
You formally invited to a Jane Austen Murder Mystery Dinner & Card Party!
Join us at Rosings Estate for an evening of good food while socializing with friends and acquaintances along with some of your favorite Jane Austen characters!
A scandal of great proportions has rocked Rosings Estate! A body has been found and stuffed into the water closet next to the breakfast room. Certain high profile guests of the estate are under suspicion. Once the perpetrator is discovered he/she will certainly be ousted from good society if not imprisoned! Things are not what they seem, even the lady Catherine is not above suspicion! On September 26th all will be revealed!
If you are interested in a main character role (one of the 10 Suspects), please let us know! Alternatively, we are offering a limited amount of additional supporting role characters (not suspects; no lines, but feel free to ad lib/improv. if so desired). If you would like one of these characters please contact HistoricalCitizensAssoc@gmail.com. All others are welcome to be guests ("non playing characters"/non-suspects, no role).

following Dinner, Card Tables for games (Whist, Cribbage, Farro, etc.) will be set up
We will have a Silhouette Artist available for those who wish to sit for a Silhouette. (A separate fee for silhouettes will be payable to the artist at the time one sits for the silhouette.)

Dress Code:We encourage people to dress in appropriate outfits for 1790s-1820s, but if you do not have access to said finery, please feel free to dress in modern formal/evening wear attire. (Gentlemen, dress in suits with ties, Ladies, evening dresses.)
We do not endorse any specific costume sale or rental company.
