Versions of "Cinderella" are told around the world. Cenerentola wants to attend the Masquerade Ball but has nothing to wear, until a magical dove transforms into her Fairy Godmother. Think you know the rest of the story?
You might be surprised by the exciting and comical twists in this 19th century Venetian puppet script. Pulcinella, the famous commedia dell'arte clown, blunders his way along, often distracted by dreams of gelato. Eventually, the lovable buffoon helps reunite the prince with the mystery owner of the glass slipper. But wait, the prince's treacherous uncle is plotting to usurp the throne! Luckily, brave Cenerentola is there to save the foolish boys.
