Romantasy Cabaret, Phoenix's unique variety cabaret ensemble, presents their annual Halloween fete- aptly named The Daringly Sexy Macabre Masquerade- at Club Red in Tempe. The cast takes their usual cheeky antics, elaborate costuming and sexy side-show affair and stirs in plenty of toil n' trouble on October 22, 2011. The high-energy, cornucopia of frolic and fun blends in some darker themes and haunting music selections, conjuring up a magic spell to cast over their audience in their closing show of a successful fifth season in the valley.

Romantasy Cabaret provides a slice of kitschy Vaudeville, a sliver of creepy underworld, and dose of zombie burlesque, just in time to whet appetites for Halloween. The usual silly comedy takes on darker twists, the song and dance becomes more haunting and the dancing darlings seem to be, well, dead!

Romantasy Cabaret encourages guests to dress in attire befitting by-gone-era masquerade balls. Those patrons donning masquerade attire earn free raffle tickets just for attending in garb. Those not in costume may purchase raffle tickets with 50% of the evenings raffle proceeds to be donated to Mayday Pit Bull Rescue, an organization bent on educating the public that Pit Bulls are not scary dogs. Closing out the show is the after-party when the Romantasy Cabaret folks come out to mix and mingle with the audience for photos and fun.

While Club Red is not equipped to serve food, attendees can nosh on various food items for sale by a local food merchant.

Show writer, director and producer, Mizz Lucy Morals urges advance purchase of tickets if patrons hope for a seat for the 3-hour plus show. Front row VIP and VIP Reserved seats sell out quickly. General Admission tickets are usually available through the night of the show but do not guarantee a seat.
