Voodoo and Art, A Film Screening and discussion by Herb Gold
A colorful evening of film and discussion Herbert Gold will screen Hotel Haiti, a documentary in which he appears, on Haitian Art and Voodoo by German filmmaker, Uly Aumuller. Herbert Gold has been an influential member of the San Francisco literary world since he settled in the city during the 1960s. Gold is best known for his novel Fathers, an account of a father and son adjusting to the hardships of immigrant life in America. Still a San Francisco resident, his most recent publication is a memoir entitled Still Alive!: A Temporary Condition.
