Whiskey & Elephants
Seventeen interviews, two elephants, some dancers, and some whiskey. Combining film and movement, The Maeko Film Project presents a surreal journey through the darker crevices of the self, putting into light the illusions we create and dwell in.
Richmond choreographer/videographer Charli Brissey will be presenting her videodance, WEIGHT, for the first time in Richmond. Also included is a duet choreographed by Brissey and work by guest artists Felix Crux, from Richmond, VA, and Megan Harrold, from Brooklyn, NY.
All artists are alumni of the VCU Department of Dance.
