On Friday, October 5th, SWAY Events and Instinct Magazine will present The List as the Official Opening Party for Rainbows Festival Weekend 2007. The party will provide an exclusive evening that will allow everybody on the guest list to experience one of the most hip, chic nights in Downtown Phoenix.
Starting at eight PM, SWAY Events will be checking The List and inviting pre-sale ticket holders and VIP guests in for the first-ever look at AREA Phoenix: the citys newest and most exclusive, progressive event space located in the industrial warehouse district off of 1-17 & McDowell. During this inclusive hour, guests will enjoy passed hors doeuvres and be treated to gift bags filled with everything from music to pampering products.
During the nine o clock hour, Smirnoff Blueberry will be rolling out the blue carpet in celebration of the launch of their latest flavor: Smirnoff Blueberry Twisted Vodka. List attendees will be some of the first Phoenicians invited to experience blueberry cocktails during a special two dollar feature of the brand new flavor. While enjoying a full bar, made possible in part by Budweiser and 180 Energy Drink, those that are on The List will be entertained by one of Phoenixs most sought-after and award-winning deejays, William Reed [Energy 92.7 FM, Shake!, French Kiss, Club Trash]. Voted "Best Rock DJ" by the Phoenix New Times and "Loudest DJ" by 944 Magazine, William Reed can be found holding court at his weekly Shake! (Voted best Dance Night and Best Hipster Dance Night), French Kiss and, Club Trash residencies. When he's not rocking the party alongside names like The Ramones, Bloc Party, Sex Pistols, Louis XIV, The Smiths, Guns N Roses, Le Tigre, and New York Dolls, he can be found hosting the underground dance show, French Kiss Radio, every Sunday on Energy 92.7 FM. DJ SisterSin [Club Miami, Amsterdam, St. Louis] is also slotted to make a guest appearance, as she returns to spin at the Official Opening Rainbows Festival Party for her second year.
Dragonfly Boutique, Pistol Pete, and Unico Underwear will present The List Fashion Show, which will give partygoers an up-close look at some of the most fashionable items for fall. With hair courtesy of The Spot Salon and makeup by MAC, The List Fashion Show will serve as a highlight of the evening and will welcome a special, surprise guest emcee.
Being on The List also entitles guests to a complimentary subscription to Instinct Magazine, along with the chance to score some killer door prizes. With generous support from ECHO Magazine, Energy Radio, IONAZ Magazine, Red Magazine, Tangible Fitness, X Factor Magazine, and 3 Duck Media, The List will be the most exclusive social site of the Phoenix weekend.
