ABOUT
Whether you have dreams of being an internationally renowned photographer or simply like being the center of attention, get a lesson in both with the SoHo Gallery for Digital Art. As a gallery space that sees no limits when it comes to creative possibilities, the SoHo Gallery for Digital Art aims to provide support to the area's entire cultural community. Learn how to photograph the intrigues that exist around every corner in New York and show off the fruits of your labor with a 2.5-hour instructional walking photography tour.
During your walking tour in SoHo, your instructor will show you how to properly photograph different focal points around town while encouraging you to produce your most creative work. You will learn how to shoot on manual, how to master an F-Stop (the function not the one on Bergen Street :) or how to up your photography skills. Tours begin at 10am sharp and are led by a professional photographer.
Once you have captured digital gold, 10 of your best shots will be displayed throughout the gallery on 40" digital canvases at our special group show/wine and cheese reception on December 4th 2pm-5pmwhere you can invite friends and family at no extra charge to show your work off.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
John Mazlish has been a professional photographer for over 15 years. Starting his creative career as a musician, John quickly discovered the intuitive connection between music and photography. Currently a portrait and event photographer with a distinctive photojournalistic style, he recently won the 2011 Independent Music Award's "People's Choice" award for best Band/Musician photography.
John's goal is to capture the essence of people, places and things in the most simple and creative way possible, paying attention to the quality of light, motion, emotion, composition, texture, color, form, beauty, meaning, and the inevitable unpredictable magic of the moment. All while having a hell of a good time.
Photographer Guillermo Bosch has extensive experience capturing the essence of actors and performers and the power of executives and legislators, he has made his reputation as a unique headshot photographer who makes one-of-a-kind photo portfolios.
Guillermo believes that the eyes are the window to the soul. His headshots capture a look, a glance, a nuance that brings a two dimensional image to life. A headshot that focuses on your eyes tells your story to casting directors. Whatever you want to communicate, Guillermo can capture it with authenticity - ensuring your professional success.
