JACK Quartet plays Xenakis
Mobtown Modern inaugurates its 5th anniversary season with a performance featuring the internationally acclaimed JACK Quartet. Known for their fearless readings of some of the most challenging contemporary repertoire, the JACK presents an exciting evening of the complete string quartets of Iannis Xenakis. Equally famous as a composer, architect, and mathematician, Xenakis's interest in a variety of disciplines is at once evident as his music is as viscerally engaging as it is fiendishly difficult.
