The Pale Imitation Festival is a cheap and cheerful celebration of underground Scottish music away from the hubbub of the Edinburgh Festival.
There will be pretty things and nasty things here, with the slow, choral gloom and surprisingly chipper new pop approach of eagleowl joined with the distorted distraction of Now Wakes the Sea and Faith Eliott's lovely solo songs.
DJing every single night of the festival, and bringing awesome cakes for everyone will be the unparalleled Kitchen Disco.
