While writers from Texas to Tallahassee were reveling in their material fixations, filmmakers from Philly were giving personal possessions leading roles. Join winners of First Person's Sixth Annual Memoir Writing Competition and the new Five-Day Documentary Contest, when they get together to kick off the festival and show off their work. Memoirs will be read, films will be screened, and Yards beer will flow.
