Il Campiello at OPEN BOOK (10/28-10/30 and 11/18-11/20)
Ten Thousand Things Theater opens the 2011-12 season in October with Steven Epp's new adaptation of II Campiello by Carlo Goldoni. The commedia-inspired play centers on four scrappy, hard-working, hard-playing families whose daily lives on a small square are interrupted by the arrival of a mysterious wealthy stranger during Carnival. Michelle Hensley directs the cast featuring Sarah Agnew, Christiana Clark, Brian Curtis James, Nathan Keepers, Elise Langer, Thomasina Petrus, Randy Reyes, Kimberly Richardson, and Karen Wiese-Thompson.
