Day Bus Trip to Leavenworth Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest in Leavenworth is the next best thing to being in Munich! There is mouthwatering food and beer. (oh yeah and did we say "beer"?). Wine tasting is also available. Just dont tell anyone there you are not drinking beer!
Plan on checking out music from our own Musikkapelle Leavenworth who will be joined by other musical groups from the US and Germany. There is numerous beer gardens, food vendors and shopping opportunities.
The luxury motorcoaches are equipped with restroom, DVD player, PA system, A/C, large luggage bays, reading lights & vents and more.
Bus leaves Tacoma @ 12pm. Arrives in Leavenworth around 3pm.
Leaves Leavenworth at 9pm arriving in Tacoma around midnight.
Germany's Oktoberfest began in Munich in 1810, as a celebration of Prince Ludwig l married to Princess Therese from Saxony-Hildburghausen. It all began as a wedding feast on the outskirts of Munich where the guest ate, drank and celebrated. It was such a success that it became an annual tradition now enjoyed by more than 10 million people per year.
