Description
From October through March, the Hugo Literary Series will host four separate evening featuring 3 writers (and three new works) at each event. As with anything new there is the promise of luminous writing, great insight, raw edge and risk. There will be new music by songwriters we admire, too. And then the day after the readings the writers will hold classes and panel discussions.

The Lineup:
Lost in Translation: Oct. 12-13, 2007
Mike Daisey, Randal Kenan, Lesley Hazelton
Music by Devin Sullivan

We Could Be Heroes: Nov. 16-17, 2007
Jack Hitt, Ellen Forney, Brian Turner
Music by Canary Sing

Love is the Drug: Feb 15-16, 2008
Monica Drake, Rick Moody, David Wagoner
Music by Eux Autres

Answered Prayers and Other Tragedies: Mar. 28-29, 2008 (at Town Hall)
Sherman Alexie, Michelle Tea, David Schmader and the winner of the New Works Competition
Music by Sean Nelson

All readings Friday at 7:30 p.m. Classes, discussions and more on Saturday (included in full pass).

Notes
There's no need to bring your Season Pass with you to the reading. Richard Hugo House has decided to provide physical tickets which you can pick up at Will Call on the night of the event. You will have similar tickets waiting for you at the other three events. These tickets can also be used to admit you to all events (except for classes) taking place on the Saturday following each reading.
