Seminar: Sound Effects with David Barbee
David will be discussing the art of sound effects editing and design in both television and features, using example sound effects and clips from the worlds of television and film.
For 13 years, David Barbee has worked as a sound effects editor and designer for television and features. His credits in television include "Angel," "Mad Men," and "Memphis Beat." His feature credits include The Number 23, A Perfect Getaway, and 2009's Star Trek. Along the way, he has received 8 nominations for the MPSE Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Effects Editing in multiple categories. He is currently beginning his seventh season on "CSI NY."
