Slow Food East Bay Potluck & Pig Roast
Come to beautiful Tilden Park in Berkeley, Sunday Sept. 18, to enjoy a casual and relaxing day with fellow Slow Food East Bay-ers at our sort-of annual Tilden Potluck & Pig Roast. We'll be roasting a whole pig at the Willows picnic area. Reservations are free!
The other half of the event is the Slow Food $5 Potluck challenge. This year, Slow Food USA has pledged to "take back the value meal"! And we are going to rise to the challenge at our potluck. Participating in The Slow Food $5 Challenge couldn't be easier, just make your slow food potluck meal for five dollars or less (per person). Please bring a dish with enough to share with 5-15 people, and bring your own beverages (alcoholic and non). To keep the event extra green, we ask everybody to bring their own glasses, plates, utensils, and napkins. Bring a blanket and chairs if you like. There's a BBQ grill available too.
