2011 Mountainfilm on Tour - Seattle
Mountainfilm on Tour is a film festival dedicated to educating and inspiring audiences about issues that matter, cultures worth exploring, environments worth preserving, and conversations worth sustaining.
Mountainfilm on Tour inspires us, it informs us; it challenges us; it makes us laugh; it even makes us cry; it makes us mad as hell and, above all, it shows us the power of film to change the world. In 2000, the Mountainfilm in Telluride festival embarked on a new journey, Mountainfilm on Tour. Each year, a selection of films from the international film festival are taken on the road to reach audiences who otherwise wouldn't have a chance to experience the festival. Those films display themes of adventure, mountaineering, remarkable personalities and important environmental and social messages.
All proceeds from tickets purchased at the door directly support the mission of the Outdoors for All Foundation to enrich the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through outdoor recreation.
NOTE: One-day tickets will be available at the door on both Friday and Saturday for $20.00!
Note: Ticket Pricing: $15.00 for a General 1-day pass for either Friday or Saturday. $25.00 for a General 2-day pass (Friday AND Saturday). You may purchase tickets at the door on either night of event. The price for a ticket at the door is $20, which is good for one night of the Mountainfilm Tour. Note: Sale on 2-night passes is for a limited time and limited quantity so buy now! All tickets are for general seating. All ticket sales are final. Food and beverages will be on sale before the event and at intermission. New films will be shown each night. Parking is free. We require you to provide your email address so we can send you (only) Mountainfilm event updates and confirmations. Your email will not be used for the non-profit's mailing list unless you choose to later on.
