AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS
This ballet is cleverly choreographed with American Sign Language (ASL) by James Sewell, based on the made-for- television opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors, composed by Gian Carlo Menotti. The story is that of a lame youth and his widowed mother, visited by three kings in the middle of the night! The perfect introduction to ballet and opera for the attention challenged, with a rehearsal of the ASL alphabet for the audience.
