Compassion Action Network Fall Faith Forum

Tom Gillaspy, Minnesota state demographer with 31 years' experience will highlight current population trends and how these trends will impact the Anoka County community during the next decade. Beyond the statistics, Tom will site examples of how the aging of Minnesotans, the increasingly diverse population of Anoka County and state wide economic factors will change how faith communities, non-profits and local government look and function. He will help us understand what the "new normal" is & suggest ways we can work together in these changing times to best meet the needs of our community.

Program Objectives  It is our goal that participation in this forum will serve as a catalyst to:

A community discussion about how the current local demographics will impact community needs
Assist community organizations, using their assets, to develop responses to these needs
Encourage collaboration among participants to utilize and develop resources to meet changing
