Gustafer Yellowgolds Wide Wild World
A concert with live music and animation!
Suitable for ages 3 to 9
Accompanied by animated illustrations and guest vocalist, musician/songwriter/ illustrator Morgan Taylor sings the endearing, slightly surreal story of Gustafer Yellowgold, an extremely friendly yellow alien from the Sun who lives in a Minnesota cottage. His friends include Forrest Applecrumble, the flightless pterodactyl, and Asparagus the Dragon, who lives in his fireplace. Since his creation, Gustafer Yellowgold has become an international phenomenon. The show was described by The New York Times as a cross between Yellow Submarine and Dr. Seuss, filtered through the lens of the Lower East Side . Time Out Kids magazine has called it Beatlesque and very beautiful. The performance will be followed by a discussion with creator Morgan Taylor.
