Garlic & Cover Crop Basics Workshop with Pat Munts & Mighty Mustard - Saturday,

Join Pat Munts and learn about the different types of garlic and how to tuck in for harvest next July.
Topics will include selecting types, preparing the soil, planting, mulching and spring crop
management. Planting demo to follow. Then, learn how to nurture your soil, reduce weeds, and
attract beneficial insects to your garden with a cover crop of Mighty Mustard. This all-natural
alternative to chemical herbicides and pesticides is grown on the Palouse, verified by The Non-GMO
Project and safe for organic gardens. We will visit a demonstration plot of different cover crops
already planted at a local community garden.
Matt & Kim Davidson own Davidson Commodities, an agriculture marketing company started in 1990
