ART
ART, by the celebrated French playwright Yasmina Reza, was the 1999 Tony Award winner for best play. This is a story about three men whose friendship is tested when one of them purchases an expensive work of abstract art a canvas featuring white lines on a blank white background. Featuring sparkling, witty dialogue and brilliant character development, ART explores the psychological and emotional dynamics of friendship.
Directed by Julie George-Carlson, ART features three local actors: Chris Newcomb, Joseph McGrann, and James Noel Hoban (who appears courtesy of Actors Equity Association).
