A Touch of Well Arts
We're so excited to instate a new, annual fundraiser for Well Arts, "A Touch of Well Arts", at Hollywood Senior Center, on October 6th, 2011, 7pm, 1820 NE 40th Avenue. Hollywood Senior Center, already a fantastic program partner in our Voices of Our Elders Drop In Classes, are now fantastic fundraiser sponsors, as well as Laguinats Brewing Company
This year, Well Arts will be maintaining five programs, working with elders, veterans with PTSD, the mentally ill, and nurses and caregivers, helping them find healing by sharing their stories, creating art from their experiences.
A Touch of Well Arts features gourmet food, speeches and presentations by workshop participants and actors, monologue performances of the stories, silent auctions and raffles, and music. Not only will you feast in good company, but you can get some holiday shopping done early, and support a good cause.
