| Description |
 Celebrate Global Voices will benefit the Common Language Project , a Seattle-based independent media collective dedicated to telling underreported stories of social justice and human rights. Join us for an evening of live music, food, and drinks as we prepare to launch our 2008 Eastern Africa Initiative.
The CLP will present their unique multimedia reporting and photography, and offer a mini media literacy workshop. Local Ballard businesses have sponsored a silent auction, offering wonderful items from wine tastings to yoga classes. All proceeds benefit the Common Language Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
