This summer, the Annisquam Village Hall will be transformed to England in the middle ages, to a time of knights in shining armor and ladies in waiting, as the Annisquam Village Players stage one of the most popular musicals of all time, Lerner and Loewe's CAMELOT. The show tells the legendary tale of the Knights of the Round Table, and the love triangle between King Arthur, Queen Guenevere and the dashing Sir Lancelot. Other great characters include the magician Merlyn, the comical knight Pellinore, the fairy queen Morgan Le Fey, and Arthur's evil son Mordred, who is determined to destroy Camelot. The show boasts some of the greatest songs of all musical theater "Camelot," "The Lusty Month of May," "How to Handle a Woman," and "If Ever I Would Leave You." Come and see Camelot; you'll be amazed at the talent in the community! The dates are August 4-9. Show time is 7:30 each night at The Annisquam Village Hall, 34 Leonard St., Gloucester, Massachusetts.
