A Lesbian Grandma's Quest for Forgiveness: Film Screening and Q&A w/Ronni Sanlo
Join us on the day after Yom Kippur for the award-winning documentary LETTER TO ANITA (2014). Learn about the painful legacy of singer Anita Bryant's infamous anti-gay campaign of the late 1970s. Hear the story of Ronni Sanlo, a married mother of two who came out as a lesbian and divorced her husband, losing custody of her children as a result - an injustice that propelled Ronni into a life of LGBT activism. Find out how by writing her letter to Anita, Ronni seeks to reconcile the past. Followed by a special appearance and Q&A with the Lesbian Grandma herself!
