Improvisation in any music is the heart and minds expression of dreams and ideas. This workshop will present an approach to improvisation based on the ideas of rhythmic variation and developing small phrases to create an enormous vocabulary for musical expression. There will also be some work learning and utilizing Nakai TABlature.
Note: Children under twelve are admitted free of charge to all concerts. Flute Quest is a family event, drugs and alcoholic beverages are not permitted at this event.
