The Story, Brkfast Mtg, The Gran' Scam of Things; Sat. 11:00 am CHAPLIN; FGFF
BREAKFAST MEETING: A hurried businesswoman takes a shortcut down an alley and drops the box of pastries intended for a breakfast meeting. When she goes to throw the remnants in a near-by dumpster, she encounters the man living behind it. Shocked, and more than a little scared, the woman offers the leftovers to the man and backs away to gather her other spilt belongings. When she turns back around, she finds the man standing in her path, with an unusual offer of his own: he wants to share his bounty with her. She makes her selection and accepts a napkin from the disheveled alley dweller and offers him a reserved nod before continuing on her way. The man watches her go before making his own exit in the opposite direction with a new and distinct spring in his step.
THE GRAN' SCAM OF THINGS:An elderly woman opens an email that leads her into the welcoming arms of an international crime ring.
