Dr. God & 15 Minutes (SF Improv Festival 2011)
The SFIF welcomes Dr. God back to San Francisco after presenting them to sold-out audiences here with SketchFest back in January. This time they're bringing Dave Holmes [MTV's The Real World, Reno 911!] with them to perform their monologist-based improvisation which has blown away audiences at iO West in LA to the festival stages in Montreal.
Dr. God is comprised of five members: Sean Cowhig, Neil Garguilo, Brian James O'Connell, Dave Park, and Justin Ware. Individually or as a group they have appeared on or created content for Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Fox, Imagine Television, Warner Brothers, The Reelz Channel, National Lampoon, TV Guide Network, IFC, AMC, MTV, CNN and many impressive names that would probably be insulted that they didn't make the above list. All five are regular perfrmers in the LA improv and sketch comedy community.
15 Minutes is a long-form improv group that derives its adult comedy from the relationships and characters they create from honest scene work.
