915 Cayuga
915 Cayuga is an episodic, old-time, radio-style, comedic variety show and podcast that follows the fictional world of a group of San Franciscans who have worked on a radio variety show called "915 Cayuga" for the past seven years. We tape the show about once-monthly in front of a live studio audience at San Francisco's Main Street Theatre and then we stick that recording on the interwebs so folks all over the world can hear and enjoy it!
This month's performance our "End of Summer Blowout!" will take place on Sunday, September 25th at 7pm!
What can you expect to see this month? Well, only at 915 Cayuga can you: soak up funny jokes, silly stories, absurd commercials, witty call-in advice segments, and mind-bending political commentary performed by the vocal team of Liz Anderson, Damien Chacona, Khamara Pettus, and Brian Trybom; see (and hear) super-cool sound effects adroitly delivered by Foley Artist, Joan Howard; witness death-defying maneuvers suavely executed by Genie Cartier on aerial ropes; shake what your mamma gave ya' to the live music of Kirk Hamilton, Dan Apczynski, Lindsay Garfield, and Dan Nervo of the 915 Band; and observe some incredible '80s aerobics moves unfurled for you by the physical comedy team of Texas Holly and Joan Howard (who will be clad in spandex)!
And, yes, all of this is performed and recorded in front of a live studio audience (you)!
Feeling thirsty? Bring some cash because there's mouthwateringly good beer, wine, and specialty cocktails at the bar not to mention locally-made popcorn snacks for when your stomach starts a-growlin'!
Will there be an after-party? Oh, heck yes! Stick around after the show, listen to some jams, have a drink with us, and get your chat on!
The Main Street Theatre is located in the Excelsior District at 915 Cayuga Avenue, 94112. It is accessible to the J and 49 MUNI lines, and is located just a few blocks from the Balboa Park BART/MUNI station.
