NOV 23 - DEC 16 2007 OH, LADY! LADY!! (1918) Music by JEROME KERN Lyrics by P.G. WODEHOUSE Book by GUY BOLTON and P.G. WODEHOUSE The legendary Princess Theatre shows revolutionized American musical theatre, and OH, LADY! LADY!! is one of the best of them. The typically madcap Bolton-Wodehouse story finds a young mans wedding plans derailed by a vampy former flame and a jewel thief out for one last spree. A highlight of 42nd Street Moons first season, were delighted to revisit OH, LADY! LADY!! to celebrate the shows 90th anniversary. Veteran Moon performer Lesley Hamilton returns to our stage as Fingers Fanny Welch, the eccentric thief. Songs include Not Yet, Greenwich Village, Its a Hard, Hard World for a Man, Our Little Nest.
