Farming in the Hudson Valley: Past and Present
Join Frances F. Dunwell and the Putnam County Historical Society for a discussion of farming in the Hudson Valley, past and present. Dunwell is the Hudson River Estuary Coordinator for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as well as the author of two well-known books about the Hudson River. She will moderate a discussion with several farmers from the Cold Spring Farmer's Market, including Whitecliff Vineyards, Willow Farms, and Four Winds Farm.
Guests will enjoy wine from Whitecliff Vineyards and appetizers provided by Fresh Company and Fork & Spoon, Inc., made using produce donated by the Cold Spring Farmer's Market.
