Description
[ SENSORY EFFECT SHOWCASE ]

Sensory Effect has been active in the Seattle electronic music underground for years, most notably through stints curating the long-running Oscillate weekly, and for currently being one of the promoters behind the popular Broken Disco monthly.  This collective represents all talent levels through their booking efforts, with local and up & coming acts each week plus individual shows with a diverse range of headliners, including The Books, Soulwax, Amon Tobin, kid606 and Fred Gianelli. Headlining the showcase is Toronto's electro guru Lowfish, whose live sets at previous Oscillate nights have garnered a reputation for excellence in Seattle. Also on the bill is the Vancouver based dub maestro Taal Mala, recently a favorite at the last Laptop Battle competition, highly regarded Seattle based ndCv, Electrosect - the man behind Sensory Effect - and novaTRON, whose break beat hardware sets have found a welcome home with the Seattle underground dance community.
