December Starlight: Carols for the Christmas Season (at Town Hall Seattle)
"The audience was already on its feet, with a standing ovation for the Seattle Choral Company."
                Seattle Times

"The Seattle Choral Company's performance . . . reached a clear, sweet purity of tone. It became a moving experience."
                Seattle Post-Intelligencer

Even before there was Christmas, the stars were important among peoples. These days, as the nights of December grow longer, the lights of the Christmas season seem to burn brighter. The Seattle Choral Company presents their annual holiday celebration to sing to the light of human hope and understanding.

The Star by Jon Washburn
Shepherd Carols by Arnold Freed

"This endris night I saw a sight,
a star as bright as day;
And ever among, a maiden sung,
Lullay, by by, lullay."

from Stephen Paulus' Three Nativity Carols

The Creator of night and of birth
Was the Maker of the stars."

from Sandburg's Special Starlight
