Bellevue College Drama Dept: The Fantasticks
Bellevue College Theatre Arts Dept presents, "The Fantasticks" words by Tom Jones; Music by Harvey Shmidt.
Suggested by a play called "Les Romanesques" by Edmund Rostand
The longest-running American stage production of all time, with fantastic music, The Fantasticks is a simple story of romantic love interrupted by feuding parents and threatened by reality. But love, with a bit of wisdom, does indeed conquer all. Come on, "Try to Remember!"
Aug 4-7, 2011 we will be performing Outdoors at BC campus, (northend on athletics track; if rain happens we will be in the Carlson Theater on the southend of BC campus)
FYI: Free live music at 6:00 pm before each performance of The Fantasticks!
Bring your dinner, blanket, chair (or take a seat on the bleachers) and enjoy acoustic music as the sun sets over the Olympic Mountains!
The fun will move inside to the Carlson Theater where you can still enjoy your picnic and the music and show if it rains!
