Formed in Orange County, CA, but based in Los Angeles, indie rock group Voxhaul Broadcast feature David Dennis (vocals, guitar), Anthony Aguiar (guitar, keyboards), Phillip Munset II (bass), and Kurt Allen (drums). Compared by some to Kings of Leon, the band performed at the 2008 SXSW festival and released its Rotten Apples EP on the Retone label that same year. In 2011, the band self-released Timing is Everything.
Rooney, a five piece rock band, formed in 1999 and after playing the Sunset Strip clubs and self producing EPs for a couple of years, made their self titled major label debut and hit the road. They toured with Weezer, The Strokes, Sloan, The Sounds, The Donnas, Travis, Keane and many others. After their first record reached nearly gold status and yielded two successful singles, they retreated to L.A. where, after many hold ups, they recorded "Calling the World" over three weeks time. They then toured the world for another year and a half and secured their first number 1 single in Europe. They are currently back home in Los Angeles recording their 3rd album.
