The Weekly Recurring Humor Night!
The Weekly Recurring Humor Night is a showcase of fine performances of the comedic persuasion from Portland and beyond. Every Wednesday at the Tonic Lounge, catch hilarious stand-up, sketch, music and more. Pay what you want ($3 - $5 suggested, donations collected at the show). Doors at 8pm, show at 9pm. Open mic following the show.
Past performers have been seen at Helium Comedy Club, the Comedy Underground in Seattle, Comedy Death Ray in LA, the IFC show "Portlandia," the Seattle Comedy Competition, the San Francisco Comedy Competition, and at comedy festivals all over including Portland's own Bridgetown Comedy Festival. July's shows feature new performers every week, including local favorites Sean Jordan, Virginia Jones, Anthony Lopez, Philip Schallberger, and famous author Mykle Hansen ("Help! A Bear is Eating Me!"). Hosted by Whitney Streed.
