In the illustrious history of the Cover-Up, we have had our share of controversial picks - those "love 'em or hate 'em" bands that set the debates afire. But I must admit - this one took me by surprise. U2 seemed like a slam-dunk. A night celebrating the decades worth of hit songs from the world's biggest band? No brainer, right?

Some musicians absolutely HATE U2. Despise them.

I mean, I sort of get it. Anything that's as massively popular as U2 is bound to have its backlash. As Americans, it is difficult for us to trust Bono's sincere desire to actually make the world a better place. But none of this changes the fact that U2 has provided the soundtrack to many lives with volumes of phenomenal pop songwriting. Your taste or not, The Edge is a bona fide guitar wizard. And personally, it gives me an uncharacteristic since of paddy mcpride to know that the biggest band in the world is four boys from Dublin.

Join us on June 25 as we wash you over with pomp and reverb. Perhaps we can even save the world. Or at least the greater Cambridge area.
