Unlikely love blooms between a brooding, explosive loner and an extroverted introvert with a cat and a library habit. Rough Tender is a darkly comic, sadly sweet and even poignant tale about finding and keeping love despite the odds.

Joe Dressel was born in 1984. His passion for story telling led to creating live-action and animated short films. In 2007, he graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in animation. After earning his degree, Joe began a career in advertising. He has also continued to tell stories by directing numerous short and feature films.
