The Book Of Liz
Join New Stage this summer for our feature production of The Book Of Liz, by the Talent Family of David and Amy Sedaris, playing from July 7th through the 24th. After years of feeling under appreciated at the Squeamish community of Clusterhaven, Sister Elizabeth Donderstock decides to leave for the outside world that she's only seen from afar. She fits right into the world of Cockney Ukranians that adopts her as one of their own, and in the Pilgrim themed restaurant staffed exclusively by recovering alcoholics that she finds her first paid job in. As Liz changes the lives of those around her, she must decide if she wants to return to save the floundering Clusterhaven community, or stay out in the real world and risk losing the things that made her so special in the first place. Written by the brother and sister team of Amy and David Sedaris, The Book Of Liz is one of the funniest, strangest, and most heartfelt plays of the last ten years. Running from July 7th to the 24th, Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm, and Sundays at 3pm , tickets are $20 general admission, and $18 for students and seniors.
