Contemporary Opera Marin presents two fascinating forty-minute works performed in English. Albert Lortzing's 1832 sing-spiel The Life of Mozart transforms all genres of Mozart's music into delightful solo, ensemble, and choral numbers that ponder his relationship with teacher, competitor and possible nemesis, Antonio Salieri. Anna's Windows, a dramatic cantata by St. Hilary Music Director Vincent Stadlin, pays tribute to the ten magnificent stained glass windows of the church through song, dance, and spoken word.
