Ann Weber Cardboard Workshop
Take this unique opportunity to create your own sculpture from ordinary cardboard boxes with Bay Area Artist, Ann Weber. Workshop participants will explore the creative possibilities of cardboard, staplers, hot glue and string.
Finding inspiration from Frank Gehry's furniture, Weber has been investigating the infinite possibilities of this humble material for 20 years. Recent exhibitions include Craft and Folk art Museum in Los Angeles, Center for Visual Art in Denver, Boise Art Museum, San Jose Institute for Contemporary Art and two artist residencies, one at the de Young Museum in San Francisco and another at Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, California.
