HOLIDAY

Meany Hall for the Performing Arts
Seattle, WA

This holiday season, Orchestra Seattle and the Seattle Chamber Singers have planned a lively performance including sing-along carols, Seattle composer Bob Kechley's exciting holiday arrangements and "Hodie" ("This Day") by Ralph Vaughan Williams. This beautiful choral work was written when the English composer was 82 years old. The Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke is interspersed with richly introspective poetry by Milton, Hardy and George Herbert, among others. The listener nestles in the warmth of the music and is invigorated by its bright excitement.

One youth ticket (age 7-17) free with each full price ticket, must be purchased in advance.
