Flute Quest - Workshop - Building a Drone Flute

Drone Flutes with Bill Bill Hughes, Instructor 200.00 all materials included 10 students per class This is a two part class with Part 1 starting on Saturday, August 25 from 1pm to 4pm and Part 2 starting on Sunday, August 26 from 1pm to 4pm. It is suggested that those wishing to take this class have at least some experience making single bore flutes. Bill will provide all the blanks and tools necessary to complete your project, and introduce you to the special techniques required to make a dual-chamber flute. While all the tools necessary to complete these classes will be provided, you are welcome to bring your own wood plane, spoke shave, drawer knife and tuner if you like. Bill Hughes has been teaching woodworking and flute making for many years. His flutes were featured in the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, and he regularly teaches flute making at Woodcraft Stores throughout the West.
