Flute Quest - Workshop - Building a Large Bore Flute

10 students per class  
   This is a two part class with Part 1 starting on Saturday, August 25 from 8am to 12 noon and Part 2 is on Sunday, August 26 from 8am to 12 noon.  Bill will spend the time on the techniques and nuances required to make these impressive, deep voiced flutes.  High quality flute blanks and all the tools necessary to finish your project will be provided.  While all the tools necessary to finish your project will be provided, you are welcome to bring your own wood plane, spoke shave, drawer knife and tuner if you like.  Bill Hughes has been teaching woodworking and flute making for many years.  His flutes were featured in the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, and he regularly teaches flute making at Woodcraft Stores throughout the west.  Bill will have several bore sizes available to choose from.
