Walking Tour: These Boutiques are Made for Walking
And that's just what you'll do as we stroll down First Avenue. Seattle's Skid Road has changed over the years from dive bars, flop houses and pawn shops, to a street featuring one of a kind, stylish boutiques. Clothes have changed too. As you check out the latest in exciting clothes, shoes and accessories at intimate First Avenue shops your tour guide, Mary Lewis, will provide a road map to the past, describing how some current designs have their roots in fashion history. Mary has studied vintage fashion and produced many vintage fashion shows. Wear your most comfortable designer walking shoes. Hats and gloves are optional. Meet at the Inn at the Market, 86 Pine Street.
