Walking Tour: A Farewell to MOHAI's Montlake Home!
As Seattle changes and grows, MOHAI is changing along with it! Historian Roger van Oosten will lead a farewell tour of MOHAI's current home, while examining several of the factors influencing MOHAI's move in June 2012, such as the design of the current building and the expansion of SR-520. Take this opportunity to say goodbye to the beloved museum that has served Montlake and the city of Seattle for over fifty years, and celebrate an exciting move to South Lake Union. Refreshments and snacks will be served. Meet at MOHAI.
ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.
